Job Seeker Services

MTC Work Solutions offers four levels of support to you as a jobseeker:

JSSO: Job Search Support Only

This level of support is available for any jobseeker who is identified as not currently working more than 15 hours of work a week and has been unemployed for 0 to 3 months.

ISJST: Intensive Support Job Search Training

At this stage the client has past the 3-month unemployment stage. You now join Intensive Support and have a dedicated Job Search Trainer to assist you.

MTC Work Solutions Intensive Support Job Search Training Programme (ISJST) offers training in effective job search and provides high quality resources to facilitate job search activity. The focus of ISJST is to assist job seekers in their transition from job searching to securing meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities.

MTC will assess the individual needs of the jobseeker to ensure that individualised training is provided to jobseekers in order to maximise opportunities for employment outcomes. This may include help for job seekers with application writing, updating of resumes and job interview practice and feedback.

ISMO: Intensive Support Mutual Obligation

If a client continues on Job Network for 4-months or more, they will be referred to a complimentary programme. These programmes are in the main overseen by the Community Work Coordinators (CWC) or Work for the Dole (WFD).

Other needs can be addressed at this stage such as:

ISCA: Intensive Support Customised Assistance

Intensive assistance services include:
