The Certificate III in Children’s Services (CHC30402) aims to provide an accredited training program for people to work effectively as assistants in centre based care, long day care, occasional care, pre-school centres and as family day carers.

Career Opportunities

Course Structure
The Certificate III in Children's Services combines theory and practice through students attending formal training and successfully completing 3 weeks /120 hours work experience.
Entry Requirements
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Applicants must be at least 18 years to enrol in the Cert III in Children's Services. All applicants must undergo a NSW Police Check.
Assessment
Successful completion of this program will be through a combination of workplace projects, classroom assessment and testing
